We realize this snack list doesn’t necessarily represent the most healthy snack choices; however, it does represent the snacks kids coming to our CAC, to receive forensic interviews, forensic medical examinations or participate in therapy, seem to enjoy and do request time and time again. Our goal is to offer services in a child-friendly, comfortable and neutral setting, and this snack list brings so many smiles to the faces of children especially the children returning to our CAC after their initial visit. It is not the goal of the CAC to meet the child’s daily nutritional needs rather the child’s caregiver’s responsibility.
Funding for children’s snacks are not grant funded but are made possible by fundraising dollars and average $222 a month.
